Energy indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, or Scope 2, result from the generation of purchased or acquired electricity, heating, cooling and steam consumer by the organisation. These emissions usually occur in the facilities where the electricity is been generated. An examples of indirect emissions from energy, would be the electricity consumed in the offices of a company.
