Carbon Sequestration

The process of capturing CO2 and storing it in carbon pools. This is done naturally but to accelerate it changes are applied to land use and agricultural practices, like for example turning crop-lands into fast-growing non-crop land.

Newer technologies are helping to accelerate it even further and in every corner of the economy with artificial capture and sequestration with the use of human made carbon sinks, direct air capture technologies, enhanced weathering, etc.
