CO2 Mineralisation

Carbon Mineralization is essentially a method of removing carbon dioxide (CO2)from the air and store it to utilise CO2 to synthesise products with enhanced properties. In Carbon mineralization, CO2 reacts with minerals rich in Calcium and Magnesium and the method is aimed at storing the CO2 in carbonate materials, also referred to as Solid Storage. It is also aimed at removing CO2 from air and storing it in carbonate materials, referred to as combined mineral capture and storage. CO2 mineralization has the potential for accelerating transition towards low carbon energy and resource conversion pathways.
